The first Home Instead Toronto client started long before its founding, in 1975, with Bruce Mahony taking care of his nearly 100-year-old grandmother, Pearl.
Since then Home Instead Toronto has grown to include nurses, coordinators, and over 270 trained and caring Caregivers.

1975

Bruce Mahony becomes a primary caregiver to his grandmother, Pearl.

1994

Home Instead is established in Nebraska by Paul and Lisa Logan, when they were looking for help with the care of their grandmother.

2002

Bruce and Lisa Mahony establish Home Instead Toronto in East Toronto. Our service area expand into Central and North Toronto.

2018

Home Instead Toronto reaches a milestone by becoming the largest office in the Home Instead network of over 1,200 locations.
